What’s worse than regret?

A child was guilty for lying to her parents

She thought it would be very bad

“The punishment must be very hurt”

She was afraid

She thought runaway was the key to escape outta this problem

She found a hideaway

She thought it would make her feel better

She lit up a camp-fire

She felt warm for a moment

But Dad’s eyes was inside of her mind

She knew he was worried to death

Until it escorted him finally

She thought there was a cure

She convinced herself and lived a normal life

She ate, she drank, she slept

She didn’t realize what was wrong

Until she looked at the picture of Dad and Mom

She did not remember what day it was

“It’s been 6 years. I couldn’t remember his face entirely”, she said.

But in fact, she remembered the moment Dad was piercing through her eyes

He put lots of hopes, regrets, loves, and mercies

She knew Dad loves her

Always, until the end of time.
